With web hosting, you can run your web site, plus your email addresses and other cloud based software such as web calendars, CRMs, forwarders, auto-responders and newsletters etc., but, if you are using other services for emails (such as Office 365) you might just want to run a website and leave your emails where they are or you may want to run emails without having a web site. Please choose from below options.
Note: Once you have a hosting account you need to change your domain name system (DNS) settings for your domain to work on our server.
If you can imagine the Internet as a road network taking you to all of the places you want to go. Your domain name’s DNS settings directs the domain name to the correct server in a similar manner that a road sign directs you to the right place. It’s how the Internet knows where to find your domain.
DNS is different dependent on the server. Once we know which hosting service you need we will provide the correct DNS settings to change.
If your domain name is registered through mydomains.net.au we will be able make this change for you.
Your current domain name’s DNS settings will be set to something like ns1.oldhosting.com.au and ns2.oldhosting.com.au. These will need to change to ns1.yournewhost.com.au and ns2.yournewhost.com.au in order to work.
